PRIVACY statement Severfield Europe Holding BV

Severfield Europe Holding (Severfield Steel Construction Netherlands BV, Severfield Europe BV and Severfield De Haven BV) attaches great importance to your privacy and takes the utmost care in processing and protecting personal data.

This privacy statement applies to both online and offline collection of personal data during your interactions with Severfield Europe Holding B.V. This includes the collection of your data when you visit our website, use our products or services, subscribe to our newsletters, fill in a contact form or quotation form, contact Support, Sales, Recruitment, etc.

This privacy statement also applies to Severfield-related content, i.e. advertisements for products or services that we (or a third party on our behalf) may display on third-party websites, platforms and applications (‘Third-party sites’) based on your user information.

PROCESSING BASES AND LEGITIMATE INTERESTS
The processing of personal data takes place on the basis of the following principles from General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

We process personal data on this basis in order to enter into an agreement with you or your company, to answer your questions and to carry out our regular business activities (such as marketing, advertising, research and analysis of our own products or services, legal matters and internal management).
    You can easily withdraw your consent at any time, on the understanding that the data processing prior to this withdrawal remains lawful. You can withdraw your consent by sending an email to infonl@severfield.com.

GOAL OF DATA COLLECTION
We collect your personal data for the following reasons:

  • To enter into an agreement with you or your company.
  • For service purposes: To provide you with personalised services by contacting you and answering questions you have asked via our Sales or Support department.
  • For development purposes: to optimise our site and make it more user-friendly.
  • For marketing purposes: in addition to using the website as a means of informing you, we also use your data to send you emails that are tailored as closely as possible to your wishes and interests, and to send you surveys for feedback on events in which you have participated.
  • For recruitment purposes: in addition to the website for publishing job vacancies, to set up targeted recruitment-related campaigns that may be of interest to you, as well as emails that best match your wishes and interests. We also collect your data in order to contact you after you have asked questions about one or more vacancies or shown interest in one or more vacancies and/or after you have actually applied. The data you provide will also be used to assess you for a specific vacancy.
  • To contact you about products and services you have requested from us or that may be of interest to you.
  • Linking and analysing cookies from our websites to customer data known to us in order to tailor the content of our communications to you as effectively as possible.

DATA WE COLLECT
In this privacy statement, your “personal data” means information or pieces of information that can be used to identify you. Severfield Europe Holding processes personal data such as your name, gender, address, email address, telephone number and IP address for the above purposes. We only use personal data that you have provided yourself or that has clearly been provided to us for processing. This personal data may, for example, have been provided by you by filling in forms (newsletter, contact, quotation or application form) on our website, via the Application Tracking System Tool2Match for recruitment purposes, via contact with our WhatsApp Business account or because you have personally contacted us by email and provided your details.

We also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to track website visitors and generate reports on the use of the website www.severfield.eu. Tool2Match also generates reports on the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns and processes personal data via this platform. We have accepted the data processing agreements of Tool2Match, WhatsApp Business, Google and Microsoft Clarity. We do not allow Google to use information obtained through Analytics for other Google services. We also do not allow Microsoft to use information obtained through Microsoft Clarity for other Microsoft services.

DURATION OF STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes mentioned above, unless we are required by law to retain this personal data for a longer period. For recruitment purposes, your data will be stored in Tool2Match for a maximum of 1 year from the date of completion of the application procedure. When your personal data is no longer necessary, it will be anonymised or deleted.

EXERCISING YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Right to access, rectify, restrict or erase personal data
You can submit a request for access, correction, restriction or deletion to Severfield Europe Holding. You can do this by sending an email to infonl@severfield.com. Please clearly state in the subject line that it concerns privacy and a request for access, correction, restriction or deletion. Please note that in some cases we may ask for additional information to verify your identity.

Right to object
In addition, you have the right to object to the use of your personal data. If you indicate that you no longer wish to be contacted (via a specific medium), Severfield Europe Holding will include you in a file for this purpose and your personal data will no longer be used for these purposes. You can let us know by sending an email to infonl@severfield.com. Please clearly indicate that this concerns privacy and that you are exercising your right to object on the basis of Article 11.7(3) of the Telecommunications Act.

Right to data portability
You can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organisation. You can do this by sending an email to infonl@severfield.com. Please clearly indicate that this concerns privacy and that you are invoking your right to data portability under Article 20 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on the basis of Article 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can object by sending an email to infonl@severfield.com.

Right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority
If you disagree with the way in which we process your personal data or handle your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.

SHARING DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES
We may share your personal data with the following third parties: our partners (including subcontractors, clients and partners at events for which you have registered via our website www.severfield.eu), IT service providers, mailing service providers, Primatch HR Group and Tool2Match. For recruitment purposes, we work together with Primatch HR Group and Tool2Match. Primatch HR Group and Tool2Match may also contact you via our WhatsApp Business account, by email or via Tool2Match.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
This privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites that are linked to this website. We cannot guarantee that these third parties will treat your personal data in a secure and careful manner. We recommend that you read the privacy statements of these websites before using them.

USE OF FACEBOOK PIXEL, GOOGLE ANALYTICS, MICROSOFT CLARITY
Our website uses Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to collect data for improving our advertising and optimising the user experience. This enables us to:

  • Display personalised advertisements based on your interactions on our website.
  • Perform analyses on advertising performance.
  • Apply remarketing, whereby we target advertisements at visitors who have previously visited our site.

The collected data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We explicitly request your consent via our cookie notification.

USE OF ACTIVE CAMPAIGN
We use ActiveCampaign to send newsletters, marketing campaigns and automate communications. ActiveCampaign is a marketing automation platform that processes personal data on behalf of Severfield Europe Holding B.V. in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We use ActiveCampaign for:

  • Sending personalised emails based on your preferences and interactions.
  • Tracking email interactions such as opens and clicks to improve our communications.
  • Automating marketing processes, such as follow-up emails after registration or contact moments.
  • Collecting data via forms on our website, whereby you explicitly consent to processing.

The data processed via ActiveCampaign includes: name, email address, IP address, and interaction data (such as click behaviour and opened emails). This data is used exclusively for the purposes mentioned above and is not shared with third parties without your consent. We have entered into a processing agreement with ActiveCampaign, which stipulates that they will only process your data on behalf of Severfield Europe Holding B.V. and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. ActiveCampaign complies with the requirements of the Data Privacy Framework for data processing outside the EU. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email or by contacting us at infonl@severfield.com.

PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We recognise our responsibility to protect the personal data you entrust to us against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. Severfield Europe Holding uses various security technologies and organisational procedures to protect your personal data. These include the use of firewalls and a third party that assists in monitoring personal data and preventing data breaches.

Severfield Europe Holding reserves the right to make changes to this privacy statement. You are responsible for keeping up to date with the latest version of this privacy statement.
