At Severfield Europe, we value transparency, reliability and continuous improvement in quality. Our accreditations demonstrate that our working methods comply with industry standards.
This widely recognised standard indicates that we use an effective quality management system. It guarantees that our processes are continuously improved, customer-focused and comply with laws and regulations. This offers our clients the assurance that we work structurally on quality, customer satisfaction and process optimisation.
ACCREDITATION EN-ISO 9001
Severfield Europe is certified according to EN 1090-1, the European standard that is mandatory for the sale of structural steel components. This standard focuses on the production of load-bearing steel and aluminium components and the CE marking of construction products. Thanks to this accreditation, we are authorised to affix the CE marking to our steel components, which demonstrates that they comply with the European Construction Products Regulation. We are also UKCA certified. This is the British equivalent of the European CE marking. Due to Brexit, this accreditation will become mandatory in the future for the supply of structural steel components to the British market. This demonstrates that our products comply with the applicable laws and regulations in the United Kingdom. It enables us to deliver in the UK in a reliable, legally compliant manner, which is essential for our international clients.
We work in accordance with EN 1090-2, the technical implementation standard that sets requirements for welding, material use, tolerances and inspections in the production of steel structures. Severfield Europe works in accordance with EN 1090-2 within implementation classes EXC1 to EXC4. These implementation classes indicate the degree of risk and complexity of the structure. EXC4 is the class with the highest quality requirements, intended for structures with very high safety and reliability requirements, such as nuclear power plants. Thanks to our qualifications, we are able to carry out projects in all execution classes safely, efficiently and in accordance with the applicable standards. We are qualified to process steel up to S460. This high-strength steel requires specific knowledge, advanced welding procedures and strict process control. Our qualification guarantees that we can process this steel in a safe, responsible and technically correct manner.

Quality requires attention, expertise and a structured approach. That is why we work every day to improve and safeguard our working methods. Not only in processes and systems, but also in the way we collaborate and share knowledge within the organisation and beyond. Below, we explain how we put this into practice.
We attach great importance to professional competence. Our inspection staff are fully certified and have the necessary experience and expertise to guarantee quality at every stage of the process. Regular refresher training and recertification ensure that our employees remain up to date with the latest standards, techniques, and legislation and regulations. This enables us to guarantee a consistently high level of quality.
Quality does not stop at our own organisation. We apply strict selection criteria for our subcontractors and regularly check processes and end results. Only partners who meet our high standards remain part of our chain.
We invest structurally in the development of quality knowledge throughout the entire holding company. We do this by, among other things, organising internal training courses that focus on current quality standards, technical developments and process optimisation. In addition, regular presentations and knowledge sessions are held, provided by both internal specialists and external speakers. Finally, we closely monitor market developments, new regulations and technological innovations so that we can anticipate changes in a timely manner and continuously improve our quality approach.
We believe in complete transparency towards our customers. That is why customers are always welcome to visit our production facilities. We are open about our quality procedures, processes and measurement results. This transparency strengthens mutual trust and forms the basis for a sustainable partnership.
