After the construction and two earlier extensions of the car park of Vanderlande Industries Holding B.V. in Veghel, The Netherlands, Voortman Steel Construction now builds a completely new car park for the company, together with its chain partner EZ Park.
The new car park (P3) forms the link between the existing parts of the car park, P1 and P2. Since it is connected to these parts by six bridges, P3 can be reached through P1 and P2. The new car park has a free space from the ground floor up to the second floor. This space will have a strengthened ceiling and wall cladding to the end walls, so it can be used as a shipping hall and warehouse. Forklifts can go in and out through the doors of the adjacent existing halls.
The parking garage, which has been built in a modular way, consists of four layers and has 381 parking spaces. Voortman Steel Construction mounts the entire superstructure of the garage, including the prefab concrete floors, staircases and fencing. Our mounting team has started the assembly of the steel structure, which will be ready within six weeks.
EZ Park, Voortman Steel Construction and Stam + De Koning Bouw B.V. have built several car parks together, in addition to this fourth time for Vanderlande. The parties combine their knowledge and expertise in a joint building process. This results in a tailored advice for the customer, a short development process and short construction times.
