Together with our partner EZ Park, we are realizing an above-ground parking garage for the Municipality of Tilburg at the Zwijsen entrance area in the Spoorzone. An iconic parking building with a modular, demountable and future-proof character, built according to the EZ Park concept.
The Spoorzone is a 75 hectare area in the middle of Tilburg. Thanks to redevelopment, industrial heritage is preserved here and given a new function. At the same time new developments, such as the Zwijsen I and II buildings, are carefully integrated. These are located right next to Central Station and offer housing and employment opportunities. The new Zwijsen parking building meets the parking needs deriving from this development.
The six-storey parking garage has a length of 230 meters. A large part of the steel structure has already been mounted by our assembly team. A steel supporting structure for solar panels will be built on the top floor of the parking garage. We also supply and install the hollow-core slab floors, the fencing, the auxiliary construction for the facade cladding and the cladding of the two spiral ramps.
