Temmink Bouwprojekten is building a new logistics center of 19,500 square meters in Zwolle for Transferro, a purchasing organisation for companies that trade hardware and tools. Commissioned by Temmink, we are involved in the construction of this building.
In 2003, we built Transferro's current distribution centre, also together with Temmink. Due to the rapid growth of the organisation, the current building is reaching its limits. With a new building that is twice as large, Transferro will have plenty of room for further growth.
The new building consists of an office area of approximately 2,350 square meters and an industrial building of approximately 18,800 square meters, including warehouse and shipping space. The project has a high sustainability ambition according to GPR Building. The building is therefore equipped with sustainable materials and installations, such as solar panels. The facade cladding – consisting of plank and point profile plates – and the clean design of the canopy give the building its high-quality appearance.
We worked together with Temmink in the preliminary phase of the project. Our engineering department took care of the main calculations for the steel structure. In addition to the steel structure, we supply and mount the roof and facade cladding of the building. We will deliver the steel structure and building envelope in February 2023.
