We are building a sustainable distribution center for Kayori in Zutphen. Kayori is a beautiful brand in bed, bath and beauty products with various sales channels, including its own webshop. They sell their own brand wellness and care products, as well as bed linen, plaids, bedspreads, bathrobes and towels. These colorful and sustainable products are inspired by nature and Japanese wisdom.
Kayori's strong emphasis on sustainability and aesthetics is reflected in the design of the new distribution center. The building will be equipped with a sustainable installation concept and circular sandwich panels and circular concrete will be used. This combination of aesthetics and sustainability results in a GPR Score of 8! We work closely with De Groene Jongens and Subvention for the GPR certification and the subsidy process.
From the first sketch to the turning of the key, we work with the customer throughout the entire process. In all areas; logistics, aesthetics and technology. How much peace does that give?!
The construction work is also well on schedule. The groundwork carried out by Rouwmaat and the foundation work by TM Funderingen have been completed. We have now reached the highest point in the construction and Voortman Steel Construction has started the roof and cladding. We work closely with Pola for the installations.
The new building consists of an office with a showroom where the various products from the webshop are exhibited. The warehouse consists of two halls with space for almost 5,000 pallet spaces. The new construction project is scheduled for completion in March 2024.
