Expansion of Severfield De Haven: ready for the future

Severfield De Haven has grown considerably in recent years. The number of projects increased, the scope of work expanded, and it soon became apparent that the current premises had reached their limits. Expansion was necessary to support the growing demand and workload. That step has now been taken: additional space has been added and extensive renovations have been carried out.

Additional halls for greater efficiency

Since Q2, Severfield De Haven has been using the halls behind the original production hall. These halls offer plenty of opportunities to organise production even more intelligently. With the expansion and renovations, we have made our production environment more future-proof. There is more space, the workstations are laid out more logically and additional improvements have been made in terms of safety and ease of use. In this way, we are creating an environment in which our employees can perform optimally and our customers benefit from shorter lead times and predictable planning.

The recent improvements form a solid foundation, but we are already looking ahead. In the coming period, the halls will be further equipped with additional cranes, which will make logistics run more smoothly and enable even more effective working.
