The outline of Elements Amsterdam is becoming increasingly clear. As the scaffolding is gradually being taken down, the design is coming into its own and the building has already become a striking feature of Amsterdam’s cityscape.
Elements Amsterdam is a unique residential tower on the Amstel, comprising 70 rental and 70 owner-occupied apartments. The project is being developed in close collaboration with our client, Kondor Wessels Amsterdam, with whom we have previously had the pleasure of delivering several successful projects.

We have now fully completed the supply and installation of the 676-tonne steel structure for Elements Amsterdam. The building has reached a height of approximately 70 metres. Thanks to the use of a hybrid construction method, precise coordination between the steel and concrete elements was essential to achieve a perfect end result. With the completion of the steel structure, an important milestone has been reached and the building is increasingly taking on its final appearance.
As work continues to complete the building, Elements Amsterdam is gradually taking on its distinctive form. Future residents will soon be able to enjoy the best of both worlds here: city life and nature. In addition to residential units, the building will feature an indoor swimming pool overlooking the River Amstel and commercial facilities. It will also boast a courtyard garden and lush, woodland-style roof gardens. In 2020, Elements won the top prize at the London Design Awards.
We are proud that our expertise has enabled us to contribute to this landmark project, which not only enhances Amsterdam’s skyline but also addresses the growing need for new housing in the Netherlands. We look forward to seeing the project progress further and to the moment when we can share the final result.
