Last November, Voortman Design & Build was commissioned by Greep & Van der Burgh Bouw en Vastgoedzorg for the construction of their new commercial property. It was completed three weeks ago: one year later. The construction of the high-quality building went exactly according to the planning written on paper when the order was placed.
This was also due to the effective cooperation between the parties involved. The assembly of the steel structure went quickly and smoothly. Our client Greep & Van der Burgh has taken the building into use and is satisfied with the end result and the course of the project. The building consists of a three-storey office, a technical area and a large hall with a mezzanine, which serves as a workshop and warehouse. Voortman Design & Build took care of the technical implementation of the building, which is equipped with many high-quality details.
An example of this is the Alucobond frame that is installed around the glass curtain wall. In combination with the three meters high parapet elements with a washed gravel structure, this forms a beautifully accentuated facade. The strip of brickwork on the side facade emphasises the company name on it. This strip is traditionally bricked against a prefab concrete inner cavity wall. All these architectural details give the building its special, high-quality appearance, in line with the nature of the company.
