In early 2012, Severfield Steel Construction signed the contract for the delivery and assembly of the steel structure for the construction of the House of Sports in Hoofddorp, totalling some 433 tons of steel.
The House of Sports is a large-scale and multifunctional sports complex of 22,000 square meters. This accomodation has four swimming pools: a competition pool, a target and training pool with movable bottom and a recreational pool with slides. In addition, a top sports hall (32 x 52 meters and a free height of 13 meters), a gymnasium and a fitness or medical center have been included and various catering outlets are available.
